The Garrett County United Way is planning a fund raising event for April 1st called Food, Foolishness and Fun.  The event will include a dinner that will feature pasta, side dishes and desserts from some of Garrett County's finest restaurants.  The "foolish and fun" part of the event will include some of Garrett County's most respected community members dressed in costume and serving as waiters and waitresses.  Bob Stephens, one of the event planners stated that the event will not only raise funds for the United Way campaign it will also generate funds for the various local charities that make up Garrett County United Way.
