Thank You
for joining with us to mobilize our capacity to care for one another and to
improve the quality of life in Garrett County. We connect those
who want to help with those who need help by investing your dollars in 14
human services organizations focusing on people and issues close to us
---basic needs, children, families, wellness and the members of our
community. Great results really do start with you!
The 2007 - 2008 United Way
Campaign was a resounding success! Over $112,000 was pledged
against a goal of $110,000. Many thanks to all who participated
in the drive and especially to those who made pledges to help our county
residents. The 2008 - 2009 campaign will kick off on August 27
under the leadership of Chair Bob Stephens and Vice-Chair Luanne Ruddell.
The First United Charity Golf
Tournament held on July 11 at the Oakland Country Club under the direction
of Steve Lutz, Chair
and Jeannette Fitzwater, United Way Liaison, was a resounding success
with nearly $21,000 raised for United Way of Garrett County.

event has been scheduled and more information can be obtained by
